Display Group Inc. – Rental Policies**
These Terms & Conditions apply to all rental bookings with Display Group Inc. By placing an order, the customer (“Renter”) agrees to the policies outlined below.
1. Payment, Identification & Security
1.1 Payment Requirements
- Full payment is required before items are released unless the Renter has an approved credit account.
- A valid credit card must be kept on file for the duration of the rental.
- A Credit Card Authorization Form must be completed for all rentals.
1.2 Identification
- Government-issued photo ID is required for all pickups.
- For deliveries, the name on the order must match the person receiving the equipment unless otherwise stated at the time of ordering.
1.3 Security Deposit
Display Group Inc. reserves the right to request a refundable security deposit for high-value orders or new customers.
2. Damage Waiver & Responsibility
2.1 Mandatory Damage Waiver
A 10% non-refundable damage waiver is applied to all rental orders.
This covers minor wear and tear only.
2.2 What the Damage Waiver DOES NOT Cover
The renter is fully responsible for:
- Lost or stolen items
- Missing items
- Major damage, abuse, or vandalism
- Damage caused by improper use
- Damage occurring during transport by the Renter
- Items returned wet, bent, broken, or unusable
Full replacement value will be charged for these occurrences.
2.3 Responsibility Period
The Renter is responsible for all items:
- From the moment they are picked up or delivered
- Until they are fully returned and inspected
3. Rental Period & Late Fees
3.1 Rental Duration
The rental period is stated on the invoice/contract.
3.2 Late Returns
- Late returns are charged at the daily rental rate, per item.
- If the renter fails to return items, replacement charges may apply.
- The credit card on file may be charged without further notice.
3.3 Inspection
- Returns are inspected within 24–48 hours between the operational hours of 10am - 4pm from Monday to Friday.
- Any damage or missing items will be billed after inspection.
4. Condition of Equipment
4.1 Clean, Organized Returns
All rental items must be:
- Clean
- Dry
- Packed properly (same condition as received)
4.2 Additional Fees
The Renter may be charged for:
- Cleaning
- Repacking
- Repair
- Replacement
- Labour required due to improper return
5. Delivery, Pickup & Logistics
5.1 Delivery Window
All deliveries occur Monday–Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
5.2 Delivery Fees (One Way)
Delivery is based on the city/region:

5.3 Pickup Rates
Pickup is charged at the same rate unless booked together as a round-trip.
5.4 Rush & After-Hours Deliveries
- Rush requests (same-day or urgent) are billed at a custom rate.
- Before 10 AM or after 4 PM deliveries are considered after-hours and subject to custom fees.
- Availability is not guaranteed.
5.5 Residential Deliveries
For safety reasons:
- Delivery is front-door / porch / garage only.
- No room-to-room, upstairs, or basement deliveries unless arranged in advance.
5.6 Access Requirements
Additional fees apply for:
- Stairs or elevators
- Long carries (over 50 ft)
- Restricted access or unsafe conditions
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, a re-delivery fee will apply.
6. Cancellation, Refunds & Changes
6.1 Cancellation Policy
- More than 14 days before rental: 5% administrative fee (min. $35)
- Within 14 days: 50% cancellation fee
- After final confirmation: 100% cancellation fee
- Unused items are not refundable
6.2 Order Changes
Changes to rental orders must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery.
7. Loss, Theft, and Replacement
If items are:
- Lost
- Stolen
- Not returned
- Returned damaged beyond repair
- Returned dirty or unusable
The Renter will be charged full replacement cost as listed in Display Group’s inventory system.
8. Liability & Indemnification
The Renter agrees that Display Group Inc.:
- Is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the use of rental equipment.
- Is not responsible for damage caused by unsafe site conditions, weather, misuse, or improper setup by the Renter.
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold Display Group Inc. harmless from:
- Claims
- Legal actions
- Fines
- Damage

Loss
resulting from the use or misuse of rental items.
9. Credit Card Authorization
By placing an order and signing the Rental Agreement:
- The Renter authorizes Display Group Inc. to charge the credit card on file for rental fees, late fees, cleaning fees, repair costs, or replacement charges.
- The card will remain on file until all items are returned, inspected, and cleared.
10. Agreement Acceptance
By signing the rental contract, accepting delivery, or completing payment online, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions.
